Stream Jam is back again and this time, they have overthrown Wodonga’s biggest entertainment venue with Border/Northeast young and upcoming artists for a month-long group of Thursdays streaming live!
What does this all mean!?!
Wodonga Youth has single-handedly brought music back to the region with a series of banger online shows featuring artists such as Chelsea Knight, Godspeed Brotherman, Jackson Quinnell, Greenwalls and Jordsi!
Coming live to your social media’s every Thursday in November, the show is a 40-minute long event broadcast from theCube in Wodonga with a focus on engaging young artists on a wider platform in a full production setting.
“There are young people out there forced to play only in their bedrooms, this event gives them the drive to have a go at it” says Wodonga Youth Coordinator, Scott Bates.
After the success of Stream Jam North East which saw over 5500 streamed minutes across nearly 1,000 connected users, this format is quite the change with an in-person style setup led by Atomic Radio personalities, Josh and Mel from the Mixed Lolly Bag radio show.
The ultimate aim Scott would like to see come of this is more awareness to the size of the talent pool the border/north east has hiding. Ultimately he would like to see a “more musical base built in Wodonga”.
Stream Jam Takeover kicks off November 5th at 7pm with Godspeed Brotherman taking the stage!
