Just because venue’s are saying “no music for you”, doesn’t mean that the music has to stop! This is proving right all around Australia (and the world) with so many musicians losing out on gig’s, now turning to online streaming to get their tunes out!
Melbourne based artist, “Bloom” popped up on my feed today with a live stream from her house labeled “Driveway Sessions” playing an intimate list of tracks from her shows that have been cancelled!
Now picture this… 4 of the best musicians in Australia, setting up for a jam in your neighbourhood to play through the negative vibes bouncing around the socials of today to a worldwide audience!
What a way to practice Social Distancing and piss off the negative vibes from the music industry taking such a big hit!
We are seeing this pop up more and more over the last week with the Federal Government announcing bans on social gatherings of above
500… 100… 25 in enclosed areas. So with all the venues around Australian forcing the ENTIRE music industry into shutdown, artists have taken control of their own situation and launched a new revolution of music delivery…
We talked about this a while back HERE with artists using streaming platforms more and more to get their music out and with all of the CoV concerns, is this the push online streaming needed to become the next big medium of delivery?
Let us know your thoughts! Are you planning on streaming a gig some time soon? What artists have you seen streaming lately! Hit us up! We want to know all about it!
